About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Product Sourcing Engineer to drive strategic supply chain development and cost management for autonomous underwater vehicles. You'll lead supplier partnerships, manage new product introduction procurement, optimize manufacturing BOMs, and execute cost engineering activities across product lifecycles.
What you'll do
- Conduct supplier selection and strategic partnerships for AUV product hardware development
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies including market analysis, supplier rationalization, and commodity pricing
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) component procurement and supplier CAPEX verification
- Perform total cost of ownership (TCO) modeling and cost engineering to optimize product lifecycle economics
- Drive BOM development, risk assessment, and component qualification coordination with Quality and Manufacturing teams
- Manage project schedules, critical path activities, and cross-functional alignment to mitigate supply chain risks
