About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Production Hardware Test Engineer to oversee testing operations for advanced defense systems, ensuring quality through hands-on troubleshooting, test automation development, and continuous process improvement. You'll own test activities across the manufacturing value stream, collaborate with design and quality teams, and drive efficiency while maintaining stringent standards.
What you'll do
- Maintain ownership of production test flow and resolve complex infrared systems issues during testing
- Develop and maintain test capabilities from system-level checkouts to component-level validation across manufacturing
- Create test work instructions, train technicians, and build failure mode libraries with troubleshooting guides
- Develop software for test automation, data analytics, and report generation
- Perform root cause analysis on product failures and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing teams on customer returns and process improvements
