What you'll do
- Execute red-team designs, models, and analyses to hunt failure modes and surface hidden assumptions across programs
- Develop models, simulations, and analysis tooling to independently verify claims and pressure-test trade studies
- Reconstruct and independently verify work from Systems, GNC, Software, Hardware, and Mission Ops teams to find missed errors
- Collaborate cross-functionally to translate findings into actionable design improvements with measurable impact
- Leverage hands-on systems-building experience to catch problems in analysis rather than during flight testing
- Communicate complex results with strong visual data presentation to engineers, leadership, and stakeholders

- Physics-math scripting (MATLAB, Simulink, Python with numpy/scipy)
- Systems engineering and analysis across aerospace, dynamics, controls, or GNC domains
- Failure analysis, adversarial review, and independent verification methods
- Model development and simulation across multiple physics regimes
- Cross-domain reasoning (space systems, missiles, air vehicles, sensors, EW)
- Technical communication and data visualization
- Space systems or missile defense design and analysis
- Domain-specific tools (STK/Astrogator, AFSIM) and reinforcement learning
