About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Resident Supplier Quality Engineer to serve as the on-site quality liaison at supplier facilities in Washington or Northern California. You'll oversee quality processes for composite and mechanical assemblies, manage inspections across production stages, and drive supplier performance and compliance with design and manufacturing standards.

What you'll do

  • Partner with design teams on design for manufacturability feedback and product data generation for composite assemblies
  • Execute source inspections at incoming, in-process, and final acceptance stages at supplier facilities
  • Drive supplier quality development and qualification activities including design reviews, process development, PPAP, and audits
  • Manage technical risks, proof of concepts, prototyping, and production scaling across composites and mechanical sub-assemblies
  • Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and material review board activities for supplier quality issues
  • Conduct audits of supplier Quality Management Systems and ensure compliance with AS9100/ISO 9001 and customer flow-down requirements
