About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to own the health and uptime of deployed imaging systems in the field. You'll diagnose issues across the full stack, escalate genuine bugs to engineering, build runbooks and tooling to prevent recurring problems, and travel ~15% for field support—working as the second SRE on a small, high-trust team.

What you'll do

  • Triage, diagnose, and resolve issues in deployed imaging systems across networking, hardware, calibration, and software layers
  • Serve as first and second-line escalation for support tickets and customer issues, acting as the deep-expertise backstop
  • Build and maintain runbooks, diagnostics, and self-service tooling to reduce repeat incidents and support load
  • Reproduce and document software defects cleanly, then hand off to engineering while protecting their focus
  • Travel approximately 15% for field deployments and on-site support activities
  • Feed field reliability insights back into product design to improve observability, upgrades, and failure modes
