About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to own the health and uptime of fielded imaging systems in remote and constrained environments. You'll diagnose complex, multi-layer failures across hardware, firmware, and services, escalate genuine defects to product teams, and systematically eliminate recurring issues through runbooks and tooling.
What you'll do
- Triage and resolve production issues in deployed imaging systems across network, hardware, firmware, and service layers
- Serve as escalation point for customer support and internal channels, providing deep expertise for complex failures
- Develop and maintain runbooks, diagnostics, and self-service tools to prevent recurrence of fielded system problems
- Reproduce and document genuine software defects for handoff to Mission Software Engineers
- Collect field reliability signals and feed them back to product teams to improve observability and graceful degradation
- Participate in structured on-call rotation including after-hours and weekend coverage, with approximately 15% travel for field support
