About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Software Engineer to develop advanced tracking algorithms and real-time systems for air and missile defense radar. You'll design multi-target tracking solutions, optimize high-performance distributed systems processing massive sensor data, and collaborate with radar engineers to integrate solutions into defense systems deployed for mission-critical operations.

What you'll do

  • Design and implement advanced tracking algorithms for multi-target detection, track fusion, and threat discrimination
  • Develop high-performance real-time software systems to process radar data and maintain tracks on dozens to hundreds of simultaneous targets
  • Build modeling and simulation environments to validate tracking performance and identify improvements
  • Collaborate with radar engineers and system architects to integrate tracking solutions into end-to-end defense systems
  • Optimize tracking software for performance-critical, millisecond-sensitive environments
  • Communicate technical concepts and trade-offs to cross-functional teams, leadership, and customers

What they're looking for

  • C++ programming
  • Python programming
  • Linear algebra and probability/statistics
  • Real-time systems design
  • Signal processing and sensor data handling
  • Software engineering fundamentals (design patterns, testing, version control)
  • Algorithm design and optimization
  • Multi-target tracking and sensor fusion

Benefits

  • Work on mission-critical defense technology with direct military impact
  • Access to cutting-edge AI and computer vision capabilities through Lattice OS platform
  • Collaborate with small, focused teams of expert engineers
