About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Structural Analysis Engineer in Costa Mesa to perform static and dynamic analyses across defense platforms, develop finite element models, and collaborate with hardware teams to ensure design integrity and compliance with requirements and standards.
What you'll do
- Perform static and dynamic structural analyses using first principles and FEA across multiple domains (sea, ground, air, space)
- Develop and manage finite element models at global and subsystem levels
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to refine designs based on analytical findings
- Conduct and support validation testing including instrumentation, data collection, and model correlation
- Document analysis methodology and results in technical reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure designs meet customer requirements, industry standards, and safety regulations
