About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Systems Engineer to lead mission system development for an advanced airborne platform, applying agile systems engineering principles to deliver cutting-edge vertical flight capabilities. You'll own critical design artifacts, coordinate cross-functional reviews, and drive rapid prototyping from concept to flight test.

What you'll do

  • Execute agile systems engineering approach for Thunder Mission System and Payloads development, maintaining Technical Performance Measures throughout design
  • Own functional decomposition, system/product breakdown structures, and architecture diagrams; develop System Description Documents and Interface Control Documents
  • Lead and represent systems engineering discipline in design reviews (SDR, PDR, CDR, TRR) and safety governance structures
  • Design and coordinate Hardware-In-Lab and Hardware-In-The-Loop integration environments; champion Test and Evaluation Master Plan execution
  • Manage configuration, change management, and issue tracking workflows; coordinate ticket triage and closure
  • Support systems safety, airworthiness efforts, and prototype/production testing with Physical Configuration Audits and verification tasks
