About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Tactical Network Engineer to design and deploy networking solutions for command-and-control systems managing distributed unmanned systems. The role involves architecting secure, resilient mesh networks across OSI layers, conducting trade studies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate emerging tactical communications capabilities.
What you'll do
- Lead design and implementation of networking stacks for C2 and distributed autonomy across unmanned systems
- Decompose networking requirements from complex design reference missions and define success criteria
- Design, implement, deploy, and troubleshoot solutions across OSI Layers 1–4 with security compliance
- Conduct trade-off studies comparing tactical communications and networking solutions including government technologies
- Build benchmarking tools and analyze network traffic to optimize performance and reliability
- Collaborate with software engineers on modeling, simulation, and hardware-in-the-loop test infrastructure
