About this role

Anduril Industries seeks a Senior Test Engineer to lead the hardware test lifecycle for advanced maritime defense systems, from requirements analysis through field execution. You'll design custom test rigs, execute Hardware-in-the-Loop qualification, perform root-cause analysis, and mentor junior engineers while bridging design and production.

What you'll do

  • Develop Test & Evaluation Plans, Design Verification Plans & Reports (DVP&R), and standard operating procedures from customer and system requirements
  • Design, fabricate, and validate specialized test fixtures, mechanical rigs, and electrical ground support equipment
  • Lead hands-on integration, functional testing, environmental validation, and troubleshooting on production floor and during operational trials
  • Select, calibrate, and install instrumentation; acquire and analyze empirical test data against performance targets
  • Investigate hardware anomalies and execute root-cause failure analyses (8D, FMEA) driving corrective design actions
  • Interface with hardware vendors, cross-functional teams, and customers; mentor junior engineers and technicians
