About this role
Anduril Industries seeks a Wire Harness Engineer to design and integrate electrical harness systems for advanced defense platforms. You'll lead the full lifecycle of wiring and interconnect systems, from component selection through production documentation, while collaborating across engineering disciplines in a fast-paced defense technology environment.
What you'll do
- Design, fabricate, and integrate harness systems using Siemens NX and Capital Harness CAD tools
- Select connectors, wire, shielding, and cable components to meet environmental and electrical requirements
- Develop harness block diagrams, wire diagrams, and formboard drawings for production
- Perform electrical trade studies and risk analysis for voltage drop, EMI/EMC, crosstalk, and thermal effects
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners and cross-functional teams (mechanical, electrical, software) on design requirements
- Prepare assembly instructions and test procedures aligned with MIL-STD and industry standards

- SWaP (Size, Weight, Power) optimization
- Wire block interconnect and schematic diagram reading
