About this role

Antares seeks an Enterprise Software Engineer to build and operate the systems backbone connecting supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and finance operations. You'll design workflows, implement AI-enabled automations, and administer enterprise tools (MES, ERP, procurement systems) to track commitments, surface blockers, and accelerate execution for a venture-backed nuclear microreactor company.

What you'll do

  • Translate cross-functional requirements into system workflows, data models, forms, approvals, and operating procedures across supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and finance
  • Design and implement AI-enabled and agentic workflows to track supplier commitments, PO status, material readiness, nonconformances, and escalations
  • Build automations using SQL, Python, APIs, low-code tools, and RPA to reduce manual status chasing and improve visibility across teams and suppliers
  • Own day-to-day administration and configuration of MES, ERP/MRP, procurement, inventory, and supplier portal systems
  • Create integrations between enterprise systems and collaboration tools (email, Slack, ticketing, document repositories, spreadsheets)
  • Develop human-in-the-loop AI workflows that summarize communications, extract commitments, flag gaps, and escalate exceptions while preserving accountability

What they're looking for

  • Enterprise system administration (MES, ERP, procurement, inventory management)
  • SQL and Python for data pipelines, automation, and analysis
  • API integration and webhook development
  • Low-code/no-code tools and Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • AI/ML workflow design and human-in-the-loop systems
  • Data modeling and master data management
  • Process mapping and requirements gathering
  • ETL pipeline design and data quality management
