About this role
Anthropic seeks an experienced infrastructure counsel to lead legal strategy for large-scale datacenter leases, construction agreements, and financing structures supporting AI compute capacity. You'll coordinate with specialized outside counsel and internal teams to ensure deals align with operational requirements and strategic objectives.
What you'll do
- Negotiate long-term datacenter leases representing Anthropic's major capital commitments
- Coordinate construction-related agreements including design-build contracts, equipment procurement, and commissioning schedules
- Manage legal workstreams for complex financing structures such as sale-leasebacks and project finance vehicles
- Oversee specialized outside counsel on real estate and financing matters to ensure alignment with commercial objectives
- Collaborate with compute transaction managers and finance teams on deal structuring and risk management
- Identify novel structures or terms that could impact operational flexibility and AI-specific facility requirements
