About this role
Anthropic seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to embed with enterprise customers and build production AI applications using Claude models. You'll combine technical expertise in LLM deployment with customer-facing skills to drive transformational AI adoption and shape Anthropic's enterprise strategy.
What you'll do
- Build production applications with Claude models within customer systems, ensuring requirements are met
- Deliver technical artifacts including MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills for production use
- Provide white-glove deployment support for Anthropic products in enterprise environments
- Identify and document repeatable deployment patterns for feedback to product and engineering teams
- Maintain current knowledge of LLM capabilities, implementation patterns, and AI development stacks
- Build long-term customer relationships and identify ongoing AI deployment opportunities

- Production LLM experience with prompt engineering and agent development
- Python programming with proficiency in additional languages (TypeScript, Java, etc.)
- Enterprise AI deployment patterns and evaluation frameworks
- Strong communication and technical discovery with diverse stakeholders
- High agency and ability to navigate ambiguity in complex organizations
- Cross-organizational collaboration and prioritization
- Enterprise IT systems knowledge (preferred)
- Forward-deployed or professional services background (preferred)
