About this role
Anthropic Labs is seeking a versatile full-stack engineer to rapidly prototype and ship AI-powered applications that bridge research breakthroughs with real-world impact. You'll collaborate closely with researchers and users to validate product concepts through fast iteration, working in a startup-like environment where ambiguity and experimentation are core to success.
What you'll do
- Build and ship full-stack prototypes that demonstrate emerging AI capabilities, prioritizing speed and learning over perfection
- Partner with research teams to understand new model features and translate them into user-friendly experiences
- Gather user feedback through direct engagement and structured experiments to validate or invalidate product hypotheses
- Document learnings and guide successful prototypes toward handoff to full product teams
- Provide iterative feedback to researchers on model effectiveness and capability gaps
- Contribute flexibly across multiple Labs initiatives, applying insights across projects as priorities shift
