About this role

Apex seeks a Deployed Engineer to serve as the primary technical software interface for customers adopting Apex's satellite bus products and ground support tools. This customer-facing role combines hands-on software troubleshooting, field deployments, and internal coordination to support flight and ground software integration, with the unique opportunity to help establish deployed engineering practices at the company.

What you'll do

  • Provide day-to-day technical software support to customers integrating Apex products and tools
  • Travel to customer sites to support product delivery, integration, and hands-on troubleshooting in lab environments
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues across flight software, ground software, test tools, and customer systems
  • Support software compatibility and help customers bring Apex-provided tools online
  • Coordinate with internal engineering teams to resolve software and system-level issues
  • Define processes, documentation, and escalation paths to scale customer deployments
