Join an early-stage startup as a founding engineer to build AI-assisted PCB design tools and EDA automation. You'll own full-stack development from day one, shaping product strategy while shipping features that directly impact how circuit boards move from concept to production.

What you'll do

  • Build and deploy AI-assisted PCB design and EDA automation features for end users
  • Integrate manufacturing pipelines and manage hardware-to-production workflows
  • Own full-stack technical problems across backend systems and user-facing tooling
  • Define product direction and technical strategy alongside the founding team
  • Ship rapidly, gather customer feedback, and unblock critical issues
  • Collaborate on core platform architecture and design decisions

What they're looking for

  • 3+ years shipping production software with at least one hardware product launched
  • PCB design, schematic review, KiCad, or hands-on electronics experience
  • Proficiency in C, C++, Rust, or Go
  • Strong software fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, systems design
  • Embedded systems or firmware development
  • EDA tools, manufacturing pipelines, or hardware supply chain familiarity
  • AI/ML integration into design tooling or automation
  • Active open-source contributions or personal hardware projects
