About this role
Forsgren, an Apex Company, seeks an experienced Construction Engineer to lead transportation infrastructure projects for Idaho agencies. You'll manage construction inspection teams, oversee project schedules and budgets, coordinate with contractors and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with state standards—working remotely with travel.
What you'll do
- Lead and manage transportation construction projects for ITD and LHTAC partners
- Oversee and mentor Construction Inspection staff with day-to-day guidance
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and contract administration
- Coordinate with contractors, highway districts, and stakeholders for successful delivery
- Review contractor work, pay applications, and monitor performance against standards
- Utilize project management platforms including AASHTOWare, ProjectWise, and SharePoint
