About this role
CWE (An Apex Company) seeks a Design Engineer II - Water Resources to develop water infrastructure solutions including drainage systems, pipelines, and treatment facilities. You'll prepare design documents, conduct engineering analyses, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on projects that improve communities and the environment.
What you'll do
- Prepare project designs from concept through final plans, specifications, and bid packages using engineering calculations
- Create technical drawings and alignments in AutoCAD Civil3D for water systems, drainage, utilities, and roadways
- Develop engineering reports on water distribution, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, pumping, and wastewater systems
- Perform research, field investigations, and earthwork calculations to support project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver designs on schedule and budget
- Contribute to proposal development, project scopes, and technical writing for engineering initiatives
