About this role

Apex Companies seeks a Project Civil Engineer in Greensburg, PA (hybrid) to design and support land development, geotechnical, and municipal waste projects. You'll work collaboratively with experienced teams on site layout, stormwater management, permitting, and project execution while developing your technical skills and career.

What you'll do

  • Perform civil engineering design including site layout, grading, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility design
  • Support geotechnical investigations, field coordination, and subsurface data interpretation
  • Prepare geotechnical reports and design recommendations for foundations, slopes, and earthwork
  • Assist with design and permitting for waste facilities including landfills and transfer stations
  • Prepare engineering plans, specifications, calculations, cost estimates, and technical reports
  • Coordinate with regulatory agencies and manage project scheduling, budgets, and deliverables
