About this role
TEGNA's Charlotte Service Center seeks a Broadcast Engineer to maintain and repair video workflows supporting multiple TV stations across the U.S. The role involves managing broadcast systems in a 24/7 hub environment, troubleshooting equipment, and documenting configurations while supporting national broadcast operations.
What you'll do
- Manage and repair facility video workflows and broadcast equipment
- Support day-to-day operations of broadcast systems in hub environment serving all Tegna stations
- Create and maintain wiring and system configuration documentation
- Perform hands-on installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of broadcast hardware
- Stay current on broadcast technology advances and assist with IT system training
- Work flexible schedules in 24/7/365 operations environment
