About this role

Applied Intuition seeks a Senior LVC Simulation Integration Engineer to design and develop live, virtual, and constructive simulation solutions for multi-agent autonomy testing and training in air combat applications. You will lead architecture design, mentor junior engineers, and solve complex integration challenges across defense M&S tools and communication protocols.

What you'll do

  • Design, document, and improve integrated LVC simulation architectures for autonomy experimentation and testing
  • Develop performant C++ code for simulation adapters, translators, and complex interfaces
  • Create simulation scenarios and conduct code reviews while mentoring junior engineers
  • Research and integrate new modeling tools, vendor models, and customer-owned prototype software
  • Troubleshoot integration roadblocks and contribute to CI/CD pipelines and security compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
