About this role
Applied Intuition seeks a Perception & Fusion Engineer to develop and integrate real-time sensor fusion algorithms for autonomous vehicles across defense and commercial domains. You'll design AI/ML-powered perception stacks, control multi-modal sensors (EO, IR, radar, acoustics), and collaborate with autonomy teams to deploy solutions on heterogeneous platforms in field demonstrations.
What you'll do
- Develop and integrate cutting-edge AI/ML algorithms for multi-sensor perception stacks
- Design sensor control software for EO, IR, radar, acoustics, and RF systems
- Collaborate across sensor, tracking, and autonomy teams for seamless deployment
- Deploy containerized solutions to embedded Linux devices and conduct HIL testing
- Interact with DoD customers to understand requirements and support field demonstrations
- Drive simulation tooling for post-processing field test analysis and iterate on improvements
