Software Engineer - Prediction and Planning ML
About this role
Applied Intuition seeks a Software Engineer to develop ML-based behavior prediction and planning systems for autonomous vehicles. You'll build state-of-the-art algorithms to forecast road user motion, collaborate across perception and planning teams, and help deploy production ML solutions for the autonomy industry.
What you'll do
- Prototype, evaluate, and deploy ML algorithms that predict future motion of ego agents and other road users
- Develop software infrastructure for behavior-specific ML model development leveraging Applied Intuition's established products
- Collaborate with perception engineers on training data generation and related initiatives
- Work with planning team on ML-based planner development
- Handle end-to-end ML development including modeling, input pipelines, evaluation, deployment, and optimization
- Contribute to best practices in autonomous driving systems and nascent autonomy industry
