About this role
Archer Aviation seeks a Ground Support Equipment Engineer to lead GSE design and certification for hybrid-electric aircraft powertrains. You'll manage the complete lifecycle of ground support systems covering refueling, cooling, hydraulics, and maintenance while collaborating with manufacturing and operations teams.
What you'll do
- Own ground support equipment design, certification, and testing for hybrid powertrain systems
- Define operational procedures for refueling, cooling, hydraulics, exhaust, and power management equipment
- Conduct systems engineering for GSE operations, repair, and maintenance workflows
- Manage design lifecycle from concept through manufacturing interface
- Present technical designs and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation and reports
