What you'll do
- Conduct risk assessments and safety analyses (FMEA, HAZOP, FTA) on powertrain systems
- Develop and implement safety standards and procedures aligned with OSHA, ISO 26262, and ISO 13849 regulations
- Review mechanical, electrical, and software designs for safety compliance
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses for powertrain equipment
- Specify and validate safety systems including emergency stops, interlocks, and guarding
- Support equipment commissioning, maintenance planning, safety audits, and team training
