About this role
Arta seeks a Backend Software Engineer to design and build core financial systems powering their wealth platform, including trading infrastructure, ledger systems, and real-time data pipelines. You'll focus on high-reliability systems where correctness and consistency are critical, working on transaction processing, reconciliation, portfolio management, and scalable backend services.
What you'll do
- Design and develop core financial systems including trading workflows, ledger, and billing infrastructure
- Build transaction processing, reconciliation, and portfolio state management systems
- Create and scale real-time and batch data pipelines for market data and analytics
- Architect APIs and backend services for internal and external consumption
- Ensure system reliability, observability, fault tolerance, and distributed systems resilience
- Collaborate with ML teams to integrate models into production systems as needed

- Python or similar backend programming language
- Financial systems experience (trading, ledger, payments, or reconciliation)
