Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Asana seeks a highly technical Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers deploying Command, helping engineering teams integrate the platform with their existing development infrastructure and workflows. You'll move fluidly between infrastructure, integrations, automation, and code—turning customer-specific implementations into reusable product features while coaching teams on software delivery best practices.

What you'll do

• Deploy and configure Command in customer environments, integrating with source control, CI/CD, ticketing, and identity systems
• Design release workflows and automation solutions tailored to customer engineering processes
• Write production-quality code to solve customer problems and identify opportunities for productization
• Collaborate with internal engineering leaders and product teams to translate customer learnings into platform improvements
• Provide technical coaching and enablement to help customers build more effective software delivery systems
• Navigate ambiguous, fast-moving customer environments to architect secure, scalable solutions
