Software Engineer

About this role

Jane Street seeks a Software Engineering intern to work on real production projects mentored by full-time engineers. You'll gain hands-on experience with OCaml and potentially Python while contributing to systems ranging from high-performance trading to programming language design.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with full-time mentors on real production-grade software projects
• Learn and apply OCaml as the primary development language
• Build maintainable, high-quality code intended for production systems
• Work across diverse problem domains including trading systems and tools
• Potentially contribute to Python-based projects depending on team assignment
