Software Engineer

About this role

Jane Street is seeking a Software Engineering intern to work on real production projects using OCaml and Python. You'll be paired with experienced mentors, gain exposure to trading systems and internal tools, and develop high-quality software while learning what it's like to work at a leading financial engineering firm.

What you'll do

• Build production-quality software on real projects matched to team needs
• Learn and apply OCaml as the primary development language
• Collaborate with full-time mentors on diverse problems ranging from trading systems to language design
• Participate in educational sessions, discussions, and collaborative problem-solving
