Forward Deployed Engineer

About this role

Asana seeks a technical Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with customers deploying Command, a new product offering. You'll bridge customer needs with product development by implementing integrations, designing workflows, and turning customer-specific solutions into scalable product capabilities.

What you'll do

• Deploy and configure Command in customer environments, integrating with source control, CI/CD, ticketing, and identity systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams to design release workflows and provide coaching on software development practices
• Write production-quality code and build integrations across APIs, event flows, and automation systems
• Establish technical foundations for product adoption and help teams optimize their planning and shipping processes
• Identify opportunities to productize customer-specific solutions for broader reuse
• Work across cloud infrastructure, workflow design, and product enablement in fast-moving environments
