About this role
Asana is seeking a Software Engineer to develop AI-powered developer tools that boost productivity across their engineering organization. You'll design and build AI-augmented workflows, autonomous agents, and IDE/editor integrations while driving adoption of AI developer tools across the company.
What you'll do
- Design and build AI-augmented workflows that help coding agents understand codebases and enable faster task completion
- Scale autonomous cloud agents to handle complex multi-step engineering tasks and reduce toil
- Build and refine IDE, editor, and CLI integrations for intuitive AI-assisted development
- Create reusable agent skills, tools, and integrations for cross-team use
- Improve AI-assisted code review workflows for faster, higher-quality feedback
- Drive adoption through usability improvements, measurement, documentation, and enablement

- Large codebase experience (3+ years)
- Developer tools, internal platforms, or infrastructure development
