About this role
fab2 seeks a Device Engineer to bridge process development and electrical testing for in-house chip fabrication. You'll characterize semiconductor devices, design test infrastructure, and extract electrical parameters to drive process improvements in a hands-on startup environment.
What you'll do
- Design probe cards and test structures collaborating with process and electrical engineers
- Design and fabricate CMOS test chips for characterization and calibration
- Develop test plans to extract key device parameters like threshold voltage, mobility, and leakage
- Deploy parameter extraction tools and BSIM models to characterize devices
- Analyze test data and provide feedback to process engineers for improvement
- Develop and maintain test automation infrastructure for electrical characterization
What they're looking for
- CMOS device physics and electrical characterization
- Probe station operation
- Parameter extraction and device modeling (BSIM)
- Lab instrumentation and test automation
- Semiconductor device fabrication and test structures
- Data analysis and technical documentation
- Process development kits (PDKs) and test chip layout
- Cleanroom fabrication experience
Benefits
- Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
- Generous equity in fab2
- Paid Time Off inclusive of holidays and sick time
