San Francisco$140k–$320kfulltimemidAdded today

About this role

Join a team building the control plane for AI agents by developing the web application interfaces and backend services that make agent infrastructure usable for teams. You'll own specific product surfaces end-to-end, collaborate closely with designers who code, and explore new paradigms for agent-native interfaces while maintaining production-grade engineering standards.

What you'll do

  • Build and architect React + TypeScript web applications for agent management, dashboards, and workflow builders
  • Design and extend Python backend services, APIs, and data schemas that support the frontend experience
  • Partner with designers using coding agents to review, refactor, and harden their code for production
  • Define frontend patterns, component architecture, and state management conventions for the team
  • Explore novel agent-native interface paradigms combining UI controls with agent reasoning
  • Contribute to CLI and multi-platform interface design across web and command-line tools

What they're looking for

  • React and TypeScript (component architecture, state management, performance)
  • Production web application development and code quality practices
  • Python backend services and API design
  • Code review and refactoring skills for working with AI-generated code
  • Interaction design and interface quality judgment
  • Distributed systems and Kubernetes-native architecture
  • Full-stack thinking without backend architecture ownership

Benefits

  • Work on a novel AI product with significant product-market opportunity
  • Collaborate with designers who code using AI tools—unique partnership model
  • Own specific features end-to-end from conception to production
  • Deep technical craft in both frontend and backend
  • Define emerging paradigms for human-agent interaction

Likely interview questions

  • Walk us through a production React application you've built—how did you approach component architecture and state management at scale?
  • Describe a time you reviewed code written by someone less experienced or using unfamiliar tools. How did you balance improving quality with empowering the author?
