About this role
Authorium, a GovTech SaaS platform, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their San Francisco office and help build infrastructure solutions for state and local government workflows. You'll work on high-impact features, participate in architectural decisions, and collaborate in-person with a growing team tackling complex domain challenges.
What you'll do
- Develop core platform features including versioning systems, approval workflows, and permission models
- Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to Architecture Decision Records
- Collaborate in-person (Mon-Thu) in SF office to whiteboard solutions and accelerate feature deployment
- Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high standards for technical excellence
- Leverage AI tools like Cursor and Claude to increase development velocity
- Partner with product managers to translate requirements into robust technical specifications
What they're looking for
- Full-stack software development (3+ years)
- System design and database optimization
- Security and authorization model design
- Clean architecture and code quality practices
- React/Next.js (preferred)
- Ruby on Rails (preferred)
- AWS infrastructure experience (preferred)
- Document generation and complex data workflows (preferred)
