Solutions Engineer - U.S. Based

About this role

AuthZed seeks a Solutions Engineer to drive technical wins in pre-sales by collaborating with account executives, designing permission schemas, delivering product demos, and validating solutions with prospects. You'll bridge customer technical requirements with AuthZed's authorization platform while identifying product improvements.

What you'll do

• Qualify customer technical requirements and design tailored authorization solutions with permission schema sessions
• Collaborate with Account Executives to understand performance SLOs, consistency needs, and software architecture
• Lead live product demonstrations and deep-dive technical sessions with prospects
• Build and maintain dynamic customer demos; troubleshoot technical issues
• Design and validate Proof of Concepts to confirm solutions meet prospect needs
• Communicate product gaps and feedback to the product team

• Solutions engineering or similar technical customer-facing role
• Backend languages (Go, Python, Java, or Node.js)
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL)
• Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and Kubernetes
• API integration and database query design
• Technical presentation and communication to diverse audiences
• Complex problem diagnosis and solution recommendation
• Rapid learning and adaptability
