Hardware Validation Engineer II (Onsite)

About this role

Axon seeks an experienced Hardware Validation Engineer II to develop test procedures, execute comprehensive validation testing across firmware, mechanical, environmental, and electrical domains, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet the highest quality standards before customer release.

What you'll do

• Develop comprehensive test plans and Validation Test Procedures (VTPs) with emphasis on repeatability and standardization
• Lead and oversee execution of firmware/software, mechanical, environmental, and electrical validation tests
• Conduct failure analysis and root cause analysis on issues found during testing
• Document, track, and report test status and results following Good Documentation Practices
• Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, and external labs to coordinate testing efforts
• Participate in occasional field testing and develop customer usage models for products
