Mission Engineer - Colorado Springs
About this role
Axon seeks a Mission Engineer to embed onsite with law enforcement agencies, owning end-to-end customer outcomes by designing and deploying AI-powered workflows, integrations, and operational solutions using Axon's platform. You'll combine technical expertise with leadership to transform agency operations, measure real impact, and drive adoption through hands-on iteration in the field.
What you'll do
- Design and build AI agents, workflows, automations, and integrations directly on Axon's platform tailored to agency mission needs
- Embed onsite 3-4 days weekly to discover problems, translate them into compliant solutions, and iterate until adoption sticks in production
- Lead operational transformation by assessing workflows, defining success metrics, and moving agencies from reactive support to proactive outcome design
- Troubleshoot integrations and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services when issues arise
- Capture field intelligence, customer insights, and adoption patterns to inform product roadmap and turn one-off builds into reusable playbooks
- Build trusted relationships with agency leadership, lead QBRs and mission reviews, and identify expansion opportunities based on demonstrated impact
