NOC Engineer, Axon 911

About this role

Axon 911 seeks a Senior NOC Engineer to lead overnight operations (9 PM–8 AM ET, 4-5 days/week) for their emergency response platform. The role combines hands-on infrastructure troubleshooting with team management, requiring oversight of incident resolution, monitoring system design, and cross-departmental collaboration to ensure service reliability for 911 dispatchers.

What you'll do

• Resolve complex technical issues and maintain infrastructure stability using advanced troubleshooting in SaaS/Web production environments
• Recruit, train, and develop NOC Engineers while driving KPIs for issue resolution quality and customer satisfaction
• Design and implement advanced monitoring systems using tools like Datadog, Kibana, or Grafana for early issue detection
• Handle escalations and manage multi-level support coordination to ensure swift incident resolution
• Define and enforce policies for configuration and change management to maintain network integrity
• Facilitate cross-departmental meetings and customer engagement to promote transparency and customer-first culture
