About this role
Axon seeks a Site Reliability Engineer II to build and operate large-scale, Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure supporting evidence management for law enforcement. You'll own well-defined platform components, collaborate with engineering teams across the company, and grow into broader architectural responsibilities while working with cutting-edge distributed systems and modern DevOps practices.
What you'll do
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices, agentic coding workflows, and code reviews across the platform
- Design and build Kubernetes-based automation for lifecycle management of core infrastructure
- Help establish architectural standards and best practices for Axon's platform technologies
- Build and operate a self-service datastore platform with standardized utilization patterns
- Collaborate with application teams to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Partner with engineering teams to support application design patterns and platform service consumption
