About this role
Axon seeks a Site Reliability Engineer II to build and operate distributed platform infrastructure supporting massive-scale evidence management systems. You'll take ownership of Kubernetes-based automation, infrastructure-as-code practices, and datastore optimization while growing into broader architectural responsibilities.
What you'll do
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code practices and technical code reviews using Terraform and similar tools
- Design and build Kubernetes-based platform automation for lifecycle management of core infrastructure
- Support architectural standardization efforts and platform technology decisions with senior guidance
- Collaborate with application teams to optimize datastore performance and diagnose bottlenecks
- Build and operate self-service platform components that vend datastore solutions with best practices
- Help establish design patterns and integration guidelines for application consumption of platform services
