About this role
Babel Street seeks a hands-on Information Security Engineer to monitor and respond to security threats, administer endpoint and identity platforms, and automate incident response workflows. This role supports the organization's security operations and requires expertise in enterprise technologies, incident investigation, and process improvement.
What you'll do
- Monitor, investigate, and respond to security alerts and incidents across enterprise systems
- Administer Microsoft XDR, CrowdStrike Falcon, and Microsoft Entra ID platforms
- Investigate phishing, identity attacks, endpoint detections, and account compromise activity
- Develop scripts and automations to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual work
- Create and maintain security runbooks, SOPs, and incident response playbooks
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and endpoint teams to strengthen security posture
