About this role
Baseten seeks an IT Support/Operations Engineer to serve as the primary technical support contact for employees in their NYC office, handling hardware/software troubleshooting, user lifecycle management, and infrastructure maintenance. The role combines hands-on technical support with systems administration and workflow automation as the company scales.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues across Mac and Windows fleets
- Manage user lifecycle administration including provisioning, deprovisioning, and access control
- Own IT onboarding experience for new employees from setup to first-day configuration
- Maintain and improve office IT infrastructure for reliability and performance
- Create and maintain knowledge base resources to empower self-serve support
- Manage IT asset procurement, inventory, and vendor relationships
