About this role
Bellese Technologies seeks a Data Engineer II to join the HQR Data Team supporting CMS's Hospital Quality Reporting systems. You'll design and maintain backend systems, APIs, and data pipelines that enable thousands of hospitals to submit quality measure data while reducing provider burden and technical debt.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain data interactions, optimizing for performance, scalability, and security
- Develop backend systems and APIs using test-driven development practices
- Create data models, ETL processes, and orchestration solutions for distributed computing environments
- Contribute to automated testing suites and CI/CD pipeline implementations
- Collaborate with frontend teams on system integration and user interface development
- Support team members and help deliver consistent feature releases to production
