About this role
Join Benchling's AI Agents team to build end-to-end AI systems that automate scientific workflows for biotech researchers. You'll develop LLM-powered agents for experiment design, data analysis, and reporting, working across the full stack from backend infrastructure to user interfaces while collaborating closely with customers to refine the platform.
What you'll do
- Design and productionize AI agents that automate scientific tasks like experiment design, data capture, analysis, and report generation
- Partner directly with customers to validate use cases, gather feedback, and evaluate agent performance
- Develop across the entire stack, including LLM-powered backends and intuitive React-based interfaces
- Contribute to the agent platform infrastructure, frameworks, and tooling to enable faster future development
- Experiment rapidly and help establish best practices for AI development as the field evolves
- Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced, early-stage product environment
