About this role

BlackSky seeks a Mechanical Engineer specializing in wire harness design for satellite systems. You'll develop interconnect solutions for spacecraft components from concept through production, creating CAD models, manufacturing documentation, and supporting integration teams in a hybrid Tukwila, WA role.

What you'll do

Design spacecraft wire harness routing and support structures using PTC Creo CAD software
Generate engineering and manufacturing documentation including schematics, drawings, assemblies, and bills of material
Support manufacturing teams by resolving build issues, reviewing nonconformances, and implementing corrective actions
Develop tooling, fixtures, and ground support equipment for integration and test activities
Apply engineering judgment to balance performance, manufacturability, reliability, and schedule constraints
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver designs and production plans aligned with program goals
