Bloomreach seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to serve as the embedded technical strategist for its largest Search accounts, owning deep integration architecture across the customer's entire commerce stack and acting as a trusted advisor on system design, risk mitigation, and long-term platform health.

What you'll do

  • Own the technical relationship and architecture for a portfolio of strategic Search customers, understanding their full commerce stack beyond Bloomreach integration points
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to translate customer business requirements into comprehensive implementation plans and drive execution
  • Architect Feed, Pixel, and API implementations within a broader strategic view of how customer data systems should integrate
  • Proactively surface risks, technical debt, and anti-patterns in customer implementations, including challenging approaches that compromise scalability or outcomes
  • Advise on merchandising rule strategy grounded in business goals and performance metrics rather than feature checklists
  • Conduct Go-Live QA validation to ensure technical soundness and alignment with agreed architecture
