About this role
Join an autonomous trucking company as an early-career Software Engineer focused on building simulation infrastructure and virtual testing environments. You'll develop C++ and Python software components that support autonomous driving validation across perception, prediction, planning, and controls teams.
What you'll do
- Implement simulation features and infrastructure for autonomous vehicle testing pipelines
- Build software tools used by multiple autonomous driving engineering teams
- Develop and maintain scenario generation and simulation execution pipelines
- Debug simulation issues and validate autonomous driving software behavior
- Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews with senior engineers
- Contribute to improving simulation reliability, performance, and usability
