About this role

Blueprint seeks a Substrate PAVC Engineer to manage patching, antivirus, and vulnerability compliance across Microsoft Substrate environments. You'll handle Windows patch rollouts, PowerShell automation, KQL analysis, and troubleshooting deployment failures at scale across large server fleets.

What you'll do

  • Support monthly Windows security patch rollouts including official, prerelease, Defender, and .NET updates
  • Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for patch deployment, investigation, remediation, and reporting
  • Query and analyze deployment results using Kusto Query Language to identify patterns and monitor compliance
  • Troubleshoot failed Windows updates using Event Viewer, CBS logs, error codes, and diagnostic tools
  • Build, validate, and publish patching components while following Safe Deployment Practices across rings
  • Investigate and resolve deployment stragglers and coordinate with partner teams on blockers and exceptions
